FROM IN BETWEEN THE BRICKS I RISE: REFLECTIONS FROM A PORTA ROCK , a book of poetry and short stories based on the experiences of a young latino male on a journey to find his identity, culture, history and place in a society where many like him have been  marginalized. The poetry and stories reflects the struggle of the Puerto Rican Diaspora for identity and recongintion not only in the concrete urban cities that they have come to call home, but also in their Puerto Rican homeland.
